After working in public relations for many years, my life changed and I took that passion of meeting people, into giving back to my community by volunteering as much as I can; and holding fundraisers that benefit people of my community.

Victoria Baluk is passionate about the power of real food as a tool for optimal health and a conduit for bringing people together. For the last 15 years, she has been a cooking and nutrition educator with non-profit Wellness in the Schools in NYC. Victoria and her family have been part of the Pine Plains community since 2005.

Alison lives in Pine Plains with her family and works for a local nonprofit. She’s proud to be part of Willow Roots and cares deeply about ensuring everyone has access to good food, supporting friends and neighbors, and encouraging her kids—and others in the community—to step in and help wherever they see a need.
